HOUSTON, April 4, 2003 / Press Release / -- Quazant^®’s Services Division is thrilled to announce that is has been engaged by BirdNest Software to provide detailed analysis, expertise and guidance as they prepare for, and then launch, their online-environmental compliance product.

BirdNest, founded in 2000 and headquartered in Houston , TX , is enabling companies to handle their environmental compliance efforts online.  This dramatically reduces the amount of time it takes for a company to create, file, and submit their compliance forms.  In addition, this mitigates the potential for reporting errors and missed deadlines.  BirdNest is accomplishing this by putting digital logic and government data between the latest Internet technologies, such as XML and WAP interfaces.  

The engagement originally consisted of a detailed assessment of their product development plans, sales and marketing plan, and existing business plan, etc.  Once the Assessment and its corresponding report were completed, services have continued on a month-to-month basis.  During this time, Quazant has been involved in working with BirdNest on their financial model, sales and commission structures, product development plan, product version requirements and development costs, sales call scripts, call metrics, product testing, as well as helping BirdNest prepare for seeking investment.

Quazant engaged two sub-contractors to work with Quazant to share in the workload and jointly deliver highly experienced services to BirdNest.  More information about BirdNest can be found on their website at www.birdnest.com.
